QGifer is a free and open source software application for extracting still images from videos, and for creating GIF animations from videos. It provides an easy-to-use graphical interface for setting start and end points of frames, and also for setting parameters such as frame size, frame rate and loop count. With QGifer you can easily cut and extract part of a video, and create a GIF animation from it. It also provides basic editing features such as cropping and adjusting the canvas size of a GIF, and allows you to add text or images. It is a great tool for creating small, dynamic animations quickly and easily.
