Pocket Casts is an audio and music application for both Android and iOS devices. It allows users to listen to podcasts, live radio, and streaming music services, as well as create and manage their own playlists and library. The app provides a range of features such as the ability to import or sync podcasts and audio files from sources such as Dropbox, Google Drive, SoundCloud, and other podcast directories; the ability to skip, rewind, and fast-forward audio tracks; the ability to set up playlists, access “Smart Playlists” and “Up Next” playlists; the ability to search for and discover new podcasts; the ability to apply effects and filters to audio files; and the ability to share podcast episodes with other users. Additionally, Pocket Casts includes a “Sleep Timer” that allows users to fall asleep while listening to audio and automatically turn it off after a set amount of time.
