Description

Picocom is a lightweight terminal emulator and serial console for Linux, MacOS, and Windows. It is designed to be a simple, easy-to-use, and robust tool for communicating with microcontrollers, embedded systems, and other serial devices. It is capable of setting up serial communication over a variety of physical layers (e.g. RS-232, RS-485, RS-422, etc.) and provides scripting and automation capabilities. The terminal emulator also allows users to interact with the serial device through a command-line interface, or through a graphical user interface (GUI). The software is free and open-source and is available for download from the project's website.
