Description

OSXFUSE (also known as MacFUSE) is a software library and application that enables users to extend the native file system capabilities of macOS by allowing third-party file systems to be used on the system. OSXFUSE is the successor to MacFUSE, which was the first open source file system for OS X. OSXFUSE is a popular choice for users of applications that require increased flexibility in managing file systems and data storage, such as on-demand cloud storage, encrypted file sharing and distributed file systems. It is also used in enterprise environments to provide access to SANs, NASs, and other file systems. OSXFUSE works with existing native macOS file system drivers, and is compatible with Apple's System Integrity Protection (SIP) feature.
