Description

OpenCyc is an online knowledge base and reasoning system developed by Cycorp, Inc. It is designed to contain a comprehensive range of human and machine-readable knowledge. OpenCyc is based on a large ontology of objects, properties and relations that represent the world and the relationships among them. It is intended to be used for a variety of applications, including automated reasoning, natural language processing, and machine learning. OpenCyc can be used to build knowledge-based systems, such as expert systems, to generate explanations or to answer queries.
