OpenBiblio is an open source library automation system that provides a web-based cataloging, circulation, and library management system for small and medium-sized libraries. It is designed for libraries that serve a local community such as public, school, college, university, church, or special libraries. OpenBiblio includes a full cataloging module that supports MARC21 and UNIMARC bibliographic formats, an OPAC (Online Public Access Catalog) module, circulation and library management modules, serials control, and Z39.50 support. The system also allows patrons to search the library catalog and place holds, renew books, and manage their accounts online.
