Obduction is an adventure video game developed and published by Cyan Worlds. It is a spiritual successor to the adventure games Myst and Riven, and was released for Microsoft Windows and OS X in August 2016. The game is a first-person exploration game in which players explore worlds that have been abducted from various locations and times, solve puzzles and make story-altering choices. Players take on the role of a human character who is transported to a mysterious world and must explore and piece together the story of the world and its inhabitants. The game features a variety of environments, puzzles, and characters, as well as the ability to manipulate the environment through the use of objects. There is also a virtual reality mode available for the game, allowing players to immerse themselves in the world of Obduction.
