Ngrok is a multi-platform tunneling and reverse proxy service. It provides an easy way to securely expose a local web server to the Internet and capture all traffic for detailed inspection and replay. It can be used to debug, inspect, and troubleshoot web applications by allowing developers to view traffic flowing in and out of their applications. It also provides a secure tunnel for remote access to development servers. Ngrok also supports port forwarding and SSL, allowing for secure and private access to resources behind a firewall. Additionally, ngrok can be used to securely expose local services to the public Internet and can be used in conjunction with a VPN or other network security measures.
It does the same thing that ngrok does, but without the fancy stuff, like that beautiful dashboard that ngrok has. For those, like me, who don't need a dashboard, it works well.
completely free of charge and no customer required
simple, based on my ssh client system
Allows multiple tunnels and domain reservations for free (most of the time).
No downloads required, works immediately, simple!
It may not be what you want, but what you need. Maybe.
Very simple to use, but it does not rewrite the Host header, therefore it cannot forward it to the server using virtual hosts. Although it is a good option for services running on different machines and/or ports.
Simple and just works. Could not get ngrok to work properly for our company.
The subdomain address remains free for 1 month.
Discontinued Ya no existe.
There are no downloads required and it just works!
