Nerdtool is a platform for creating and running utilities and applications on Mac OS X, primarily designed to make the process of creating, running and managing applications easier and more efficient. It provides developers with an intuitive graphical user interface (GUI) to easily set up, manage, and monitor various applications. It also includes an integrated bash shell, allowing developers to quickly write and execute scripts, as well as manage and track log files. Additionally, Nerdtool includes a set of tools for building, deploying and debugging applications. These tools include a source code repository, a package manager and a debugging tool. Other features of Nerdtool are its plugin system, which allows developers to extend the functionality of the platform with custom plugins, and its integration with other development tools, such as Xcode.
Discontinued The program seems to be no longer updated. The latest version, 3.0.0, released in April 2015, can still be downloaded from the official website, but it does not work on macOS 10.13.
