Minbif is an open source piece of software (or an app) that allows users to access internet relay chat (IRC) networks from a web browser. It is a web-based IRC client that provides a graphical user interface (GUI) for users to connect to IRC networks. Minbif works as a gateway between IRC networks and a web browser. It allows users to log in to IRC networks, join channels, send and receive messages, and even send files. The app also features a variety of features such as logging, filtering, and encryption. Minbif is available for Windows, Mac OS X, and Linux operating systems.
Discontinued The project is no longer being developed. The last versions for Windows and Linux date back to 2008, but can still be downloaded from the official website.
