Kopano has scalable backend and can do full MAPI server and client side. The web application and desktop application have intuitive and modern user interface / UI.

I tried many alternatives from MS, OX, Zimbra, Zentyal, but what fits best with Outlook Sync was the new Kopano, it is more flexible. You can use the web app or the desktop app as well.

Microsoft Exchange ha sido descrito como "la única razón por la que la mayoría de las empresas no se cambian a Mac" y la persona que escribió eso pudo haber sido correcta (antes de que se lanzara Windows 7). Exchange es una herramienta fantástica para mantener todos sus dispositivos sincronizados, así como para mantener sincronizado a su equipo al mismo tiempo. Microsoft ha invertido una tonelada de recursos para mantener a Exchange competitivo en un mercado en el que hay pocos competidores. hizo un buen trabajo al mantener las nuevas funciones y la compatibilidad a medida que pasaban los años. Lo peor de Exchange es la necesidad de tener un servidor Windows completo para ejecutarlo (varios miles de dólares si se ejecutan correctamente, así como Unos pocos cientos por mes para pagarle a un empleado de TI para que lo mantenga parcheado y listo para usar, o tiene que comprometerse con un servicio de hospedaje de Exchange en línea para obtener los beneficios.
La segunda opción suele ser la que recomiendo, a menos que tenga mucho dinero o un gran equipo. También es posible que desee probar este hMail ServerWorks de código abierto gratuito bastante bueno. Apple ha hecho que MacOS sea bastante compatible con Microsoft Exchange Server en los últimos 5 años. Desde la integración de Active Directory para el inicio de sesión, hasta las unidades de red asignadas para Sharepoint y las aplicaciones nativas de Correo, Contactos y Calendario funcionan bien con el Exchange Server. Sin mencionar que Microsoft Office para macOS ha recibido algunas actualizaciones agresivas.
