The Met Office app (or website) is a weather forecasting and meteorological service provided by the United Kingdom's Meteorological Office. The app provides users with access to detailed and accurate weather forecasts, as well as access to a range of other services such as air quality monitoring, pollen, UV and radiation forecasts, satellite imagery and climate change reports. The app is easy to use and provides users with the ability to personalise the interface to suit their needs, such as the ability to add location-based weather data, receive notifications and alerts and access hourly, daily and long range forecasts. The app is free to download and is available on both iOS and Android devices.
Discontinued The official website is no longer available. The latest version, 2.1.2, released in January 2016, can still be downloaded from the AppStore.
