Description

MegaGlest is a cross-platform, open source real-time strategy game written in C++ and using the OpenGL and SDL libraries. It's a 3D game with a fantasy theme, where players build and manage their own empires, research new technologies, build armies and battle against their opponents. The game is set in a fantasy world with a turn-based combat system. Players start out by choosing a race, such as Elves, Dwarves, Mages or Tech, and then build up their civilizations by harvesting resources, constructing buildings, researching new technologies and training units. The game also has an in-depth diplomacy system where players can form alliances, trade resources and negotiate treaties. The game features a variety of maps, from small 2-player maps to large 8-player maps, as well as a range of game modes. Players can choose to play against the computer or against other human players both online and offline. In addition to the single-player mode, MegaGlest also has an online multiplayer mode, where players can join or create a game and battle against other players from around the world. MegaGlest is a fun and challenging game for players of all ages, and is available for Windows, Mac OS, and Linux.
