Discontinued This software was developed almost 2 decades ago by Alexander Grau. It was then known as DriveRescue. Although it is still available from Convar, it is now obsolete IMO. It is basically the same and unchanged since release. It doesn't even prompt for elevation (required to access disks with Windows XP or higher) and crashes even on smaller hard drives. The software is also not compatible with any recent version of Windows. See http: //pcinspector.de/FileRecovery/faq.htm? Po = 3
Discontinued The program is no longer updated. The latest version, 0.8.6, released in June 2009, can still be downloaded from the official website.
