Logitech Media Server (formerly known as Squeezebox Server) is a streaming media server software developed by Logitech. It allows streaming of audio files, including high-resolution music, over a network to multiple clients. Logitech Media Server also serves as an interface for controlling audio playback on other devices, such as Logitech Squeezebox players, Logitech UE Smart Radio, and Sonos systems. The server can be controlled via a web interface, or through apps for iOS and Android. Logitech Media Server supports a wide range of audio formats, including MP3, AAC, FLAC, Apple Lossless, WAV, AIFF, and WMA. It also supports streaming of Internet radio, podcasts, and streaming music services such as Rhapsody and Last.fm. The server is compatible with Mac, Windows, and Linux computers. It is also available as a free download.
