LICEcap is an intuitive and user-friendly application that allows users to capture an animation of their desktop. It enables users to create animated GIFs, or “screencasts”, of their desktop activity. The application is simple to use and allows users to capture a selected area of their computer screen, or the entire screen, and save it as an animated GIF file. The application also allows users to customize the image size, capture rate, and amount of time the capture should run for. This makes it easy to create GIFs for webpages, tutorials, presentations, and other projects. Additionally, the application includes a variety of tools for editing the resulting GIF, such as resizing, cropping, and adding text. LICEcap is compatible with both Mac and Windows operating systems.
