Kalzium is an educational and reference application developed by the KDE Educational Project. It is designed to help users understand and learn about the periodic table of elements. It has an interactive periodic table that allows users to explore the elements, their properties, and the relationships between them. It also has a comprehensive database of elements that includes more than 500 individual element facts, as well as information about isotopes, compounds, and even simulated spectra. Additionally, it offers interactive 3D visualization of elements and molecules, as well as their physical properties such as melting point and boiling point. Finally, it provides a quiz system that users can use to test their knowledge.
