JSFLAP is an open source, interactive, web-based application for learning and exploring basic concepts in the field of formal languages and automata theory. It was designed for college students, teachers, and researchers, who are interested in exploring basic concepts in formal languages and automata theory. JSFLAP is an interactive application that allows users to draw finite automata and regular expressions and to observe the behavior of these models. It also provides an intuitive graphical interface to visualize the behavior of regular expressions and their associated finite automata. Users can also save and load their work, perform operations on their automata and regular expressions, and generate languages from their models. JSFLAP is written in JavaScript and HTML5 and is available for free on GitHub.
