Description

JSettlers is a free, open-source strategy game based on the classic board game Settlers of Catan. It is a turn-based game where players build settlements and roads, trade resources, and compete to be the first to reach 10 victory points. JSettlers is written in Java and runs on multiple platforms, including Windows, Mac, Linux, and Android. The game features a comprehensive single-player AI, as well as an online multiplayer mode. Players can also design their own custom game boards, share them with other players, and play with the same rules that they are used to playing with in the traditional board game. The game also includes several expansions, such as Cities and Knights and Seafarers, which add additional strategy elements and challenge to the game.
