Description

Jhead is a command line utility for manipulating the non-image parts of Exif-compliant JPEG and MotionJPEG AVI files. It is designed to be portable across many platforms and is distributed under the GNU General Public License. Jhead can extract and modify Exif header data, as well as provide basic image editing features such as cropping and resizing. It can also extract and modify IPTC data, and create comment fields for JPEG files. Jhead is helpful for reducing the size of digital photos, as well as extracting and manipulating Exif information contained in photographs.
