Description

ICMPTX is a security and privacy application for Linux systems. It is a utility for monitoring and blocking Internet Control Message Protocol (ICMP) traffic from and to a system. ICMP is a network protocol used by network devices to report errors and other conditions. It is also used by ping and traceroute programs to determine network latency and route information. ICMPTX is designed to provide secure control over these ICMP messages, allowing administrators to configure which ICMP messages are allowed or blocked and which are redirected. It can also be used to detect and prevent malicious ICMP traffic or spoofed ICMP messages. ICMPTX supports both IPv4 and IPv6, and is designed to be easy to use and configure.
