I Wanna Be The Guy (IWBTG) is an independently developed platformer game created by Michael "Kayin" O'Reilly. The game is a difficult and challenging platformer that often relies on trial and error and is set to a retro 8-bit aesthetic. The game is notorious for its difficult level design and its unique platforming challenges. The game follows a young boy known as "The Kid" as he navigates a variety of levels and challenges in order to become the "guy".
