I.G.I. (or the Internal Geographic Information) is a series of web-based applications and websites designed by the United States Geological Survey (USGS) to provide users with access to detailed maps and other geographic information from the USGS database. The I.G.I. series includes such tools as I.G.I. Viewer, I.G.I. Earth, and I.G.I. Mobile, which can be used to view maps, aerial photos, and other data, as well as to view and compare data layers. Users can also create custom maps and export data to other applications. The I.G.I. series is free to use and provides users with a powerful set of tools to analyze and use geographic information.
