HylaFAX is an open source software application that enables users to send and receive faxes over the Internet. It is a client-server application, with the server running on a Linux or Unix machine and the client running on Windows, Mac, or Linux. It supports both traditional fax modems as well as IP-based faxing. HylaFAX provides a range of features, such as support for multiple fax modems and simultaneous faxing, support for document conversion, automatic re-sending of failed documents, and remote access for administration. It also provides a web-based interface for users to easily configure and manage their faxing needs.
