Description

Htop is an interactive system-monitor process-viewer written for Linux. It is designed to replace the Unix program top. It shows a frequently updated list of the processes running on a computer, normally ordered by the amount of CPU usage. It allows the user to interactively control processes by sending signals, changing their priority levels, and more. Htop provides a full list of processes running, along with their PIDs, CPU and memory usage, user, and priority level. It also has a tree view, which allows users to see the parent/child relationships between processes. It can also be used to monitor memory and swap usage, as well as network bandwidth. Htop also allows for easy navigation with the arrow keys and allows for easy customization of the display.
