Description

HostsFileEditor is an application (or website) that allows users to easily edit their computer's hosts file. The hosts file is a system file used by the Operating System to map hostnames to IP addresses. With HostsFileEditor users can easily add, remove, or edit hostnames and IP addresses in their hosts file. This can be used for a variety of tasks such as blocking or redirecting certain websites, or redirecting a domain name to a different IP address. HostsFileEditor also allows users to manage their hosts file from a remote location, as well as back up and restore a previous version of their hosts file.
