Guacamole is an open source web application that enables users to access their remote servers, desktops and applications through a web browser. It provides a secure platform to manage multiple servers, desktops and applications without requiring users to install any additional software on their local machines. The application works by allowing users to access their remote machines and applications as if they were connected directly by a terminal. It supports a wide range of protocols, including VNC, SSH, Telnet, RDP (Remote Desktop Protocol), and Citrix ICA. Guacamole also provides access to virtual machines and applications running in cloud environments, such as Amazon EC2 and Microsoft Azure. The application is highly secure and can be configured to use strong encryption and authentication methods, such as two-factor authentication. In addition, Guacamole provides an intuitive user interface that allows users to easily manage their remote connections and access their applications.
