I tried to use Parsec servers which were not the best. However, when I installed it on my home gaming PC, I was able to play it just fine. I'm not sure why they do it for free, but their software (and having awesome internet) is pretty awesome. I play PoE, CoD, etc. at work on my Mac from my Windows machine at home. It's also very useful for a remote desktop use if you want to work from your home PC at work or anywhere.
