Gears of War is a popular third-person shooter video game developed by Epic Games and published by Microsoft. The game takes place on the fictional planet of Sera, where an interstellar war between humans and a race of creatures known as the Locust Horde is taking place. The game focuses on a group of Delta Squad soldiers as they fight their way through the war-torn planet. Players take on the role of Marcus Fenix, a former soldier who is now leading the fight against the Locust. The game features a variety of weapons, including a chainsaw, which can be used to dismember enemies. Additionally, players can use cover to protect themselves from enemy fire. Gears of War also features an online multiplayer mode, where players can join together to take on the Locust Horde.
