Forge of Empires (FOE) is a free-to-play, browser-based, strategy game developed by InnoGames and published in 2012. The game is set in the medieval period and it allows players to build their own city, develop their own economy and military, and battle their way through history. In Forge of Empires, players progress through the ages by researching new technologies, building impressive monuments, and engaging in strategic warfare. Players start the game with a small settlement, which they can expand by constructing buildings, producing goods, and trading resources. As players progress through the game, they can unlock new technologies and buildings, which can give them an edge in battles. The game also provides a unique social element, as players can join guilds and cooperatively work towards common goals. Forge of Empires also features a PvP (player versus player) system, where players can challenge each other in large-scale battles. Players can also participate in tournaments, which offer additional rewards and unique items.
