Easystroke is an open source gesture-recognition application for Linux and other Unix-like operating systems. It allows users to control their system by drawing simple mouse gestures on their screen. Easystroke stores these gestures and associates them with specific actions, such as launching applications, opening documents, or executing scripts. It can also be used to control media players, with users able to draw gestures to control playback and volume. Easystroke requires no additional hardware, and can be configured to recognize up to four different gestures at once.
Easystroke is a gesture application for the entire desktop, while Gesturefy is only for Firefox.
