DroidFish Chess is an Android-based chess application developed by Peter Osterlund. It is designed to be a powerful yet easy to use chess application that features a simple and intuitive user interface. DroidFish Chess supports the opening book PolyGlot, the Chess Engine Communication Protocol (or the UCI protocol), the long algebraic notation (LAN) and the Portable Game Notation (PGN). It also features many different levels of play, from beginner to grandmaster, as well as several different display styles, ranging from a cartoon-like "blitz mode" to a more realistic "wooden board view". Additionally, it can be used to play chess against other players either locally or online, and to analyze games.
