Description

DRBL (Diskless Remote Boot in Linux) is an open-source solution that allows users to easily set up a network of diskless clients to boot from a single server over the network. It enables users to quickly and easily set up a large number of diskless clients with a single installation on the server. DRBL uses a network booting protocol such as PXE or Etherboot to boot its clients. DRBL also provides the capability to clone existing installations of Linux to new diskless clients, allowing for faster deployment of identical systems. DRBL also provides system administrators with tools to manage and monitor the status of their diskless clients. The DRBL software suite is designed for use in educational and business environments where large numbers of computers need to be maintained in a cost-efficient manner.
