Dotfuscator is a software protection tool used to protect Windows and Web applications from reverse engineering. It helps to protect intellectual property by making assemblies more difficult to understand when decompiled, and obfuscates the assembly so that it is harder to crack. Dotfuscator can also remove unneeded code, add tamper detection and alerting, and encrypt string data. It is available as a standalone application or as a Visual Studio integration. Dotfuscator is considered the industry standard for .NET code protection and is used by many of the world's leading software companies.
