Diskpart is a text-mode command interpreter in Windows operating systems that enables storage objects such as disks, partitions, or volumes to be created, deleted, and formatted. It is used to manage disk-related tasks, such as creating partitions, formatting disks, and assigning drive letters. Diskpart can be used to create, delete, and manage primary and extended partitions, as well as logical drives in both basic and dynamic disks. It can also be used to set up and configure a system partition, or to convert a basic disk into a dynamic disk. Additionally, Diskpart can be used to assign, change, or remove drive letters and mount points, as well as to expand or shrink existing partitions.
