Dante Virtual Soundcard is a software application for Windows and Mac OS that allows the user to route audio signals from any PC or Mac over a network to any Dante-enabled device. It creates a “virtual” soundcard in the computer, allowing applications to send digital audio over the network using Dante’s audio-over-IP technology. Dante Virtual Soundcard allows a computer to be quickly connected to a Dante network without any additional hardware, and provides sample rates of up to 96kHz. It is ideal for use in broadcast studios, live sound applications, and for any situation where a computer needs to be connected to a Dante network. It is also compatible with other Dante-enabled audio devices, such as amplifiers, speakers, and audio mixers.
