Clannad is a visual novel video game developed by Key and released in Japan in 2004. The game is based on the Clannad anime and manga series, and is the first installment in the Clannad game series. The game follows the protagonist, Tomoya Okazaki, who meets a number of girls during his last year at school. Through interactions with the girls, the player can make choices that will affect the story’s outcome. The game features multiple endings, many of which are not available in the anime and manga series. Clannad also features a minigame called Fuko’s Fishing. The minigame involves fishing for fish that appear randomly in the game. The player can catch fishes to gain items and points. Clannad also includes a music player and a variety of extra content, including wallpapers, character profiles, artwork and more. Players can also purchase additional content, such as extra scenarios, through the in-game store.
