Cheese is an easy-to-use photo and graphics application that allows users to easily create, edit, and share photos. The app includes a wide range of features such as an array of filters, effects, brushes, and frames to customize photos and graphics, as well as tools to make collages, add text and captions, and create animated GIFs. Users can also access and share photos from their camera roll, Facebook, Instagram, and Dropbox. Additionally, Cheese’s cloud-based platform allows users to access their projects and photos from any device. It's free and can actually detect my laptop's built-in webcam, record low latency video and audio that can be opened. The other software has had problems detecting my webcam, does not record audio or generates files that cannot be opened due to incompatible codecs.
In Cheese, the FPS is not shown, while qtcam shows that, In addition, the image control settings have only 4 settings and qtcam has 10+, color space switching is also not possible in Cheese.
It's commercial, but it's already included in Mac OS X! So free to use!
