Carbonite ha mejorado mucho a lo largo de los años para el acceso remoto. Ahora ofrecen acceso a la web desde cualquier navegador, así como aplicaciones para iPhone, Android y Blackberry. El hecho de que aún ofrezcan almacenamiento ilimitado también es una gran ventaja. Son una buena solución de respaldo en línea para los usuarios de Windows y Mac y son relativamente económicos. No creo que Carbonite sea realmente comparable a DropBox. No hay forma (a menos que hayan cambiado recientemente) de que pueda acceder a sus archivos desde cualquier lugar, excepto la PC original. Por eso cambié de Carbonite a MozyHome hace unos años. Me gusta poder ver mis archivos respaldados desde cualquier PC en cualquier lugar, a través de un navegador.

La carbonita es basura. ¡Menos mal que eres lo suficientemente inteligente como para estar aquí buscando ALTERNATIVAS! ¿Seguir leyendo? De acuerdo; He gastado cientos de dólares en el último par de años solo para descubrir que ... Mis respaldos fallaron esporádicamente sin ninguna razón. No se me informó de esto. Cuando lo supe era demasiado tarde, pero intenté restaurar un pocos archivos Resulta que solo puede restaurar 1000 archivos a la vez y no puede restaurar por máscara de archivo (IE: los archivos más importantes que se restaurarán fueron los archivos * .XLS de Excel ... tuvo que eliminarlos de 1000 restauraciones de archivos). El "soporte" técnico es inútil y muy lento para responder. Me da la sensación de que están pasando por los movimientos (leyendo de las preguntas frecuentes que había leído 5 veces antes de contactar al soporte) y nada más.
