It has a cornucopia of features divided into the following main categories: Library Management, Format Conversion, Syncing to Devices, Downloading News from the Web and Viewing & Reading. Library Management: Calibre allows users to organize their e-book library and its associated metadata. This includes managing tags and comments, searching and sorting, and creating virtual libraries. Format Conversion: Calibre can convert e-book files between a variety of formats. It can also edit metadata, such as author name, title, and cover image. Syncing to Devices: Calibre can sync e-books to various devices, including Kindles and iPads. Downloading News from the Web: Calibre has a built-in feature that allows users to download news from various websites and have it automatically converted into an e-book format. Viewing & Reading: Calibre has a built-in viewer for e-books, allowing users to view and read their e-books without having to install additional software.
