Description

Brasero is an open source CD/DVD authoring application for the GNOME desktop environment. It was developed by Philippe Rouquier and is available for most Linux distributions. It allows users to burn data CDs and DVDs, create audio CDs, copy audio CDs, create and burn ISO images, and erase rewritable discs. Brasero has a simple and intuitive user interface, making it easy to use even for novices. It offers advanced options for experienced users, such as formatting options and support for multisession discs. It can also be used to create ISO images from a selection of files or folders, and to burn the created image to a disc. Brasero is able to detect the available drives and media, and is compatible with most CD/DVD drives and media. A wide range of languages is supported, including French, German, Spanish, Italian, and Chinese.
