AppDelete is a utility for Mac OS X that allows users to quickly and easily uninstall applications and their related files, including all of their associated preference files. AppDelete can delete apps that are installed in the main Applications folder, as well as those installed in other locations such as the user’s Library folder. Once an application is selected, AppDelete can delete all of its related files, including application caches, logs, preference files, and even some of the application's associated support files. AppDelete also allows users to securely delete the application by overwriting the data with random data multiple times, making it impossible to recover the deleted files. In addition, AppDelete can also be used to delete widgets, plugins, and preference panes.
