Description

Apache Struts is an open source web application framework for creating Java enterprise applications. It uses and extends the Java Servlet API to encourage developers to adopt an MVC (Model-View-Controller) architecture. Apache Struts provides a robust model layer to manage business logic, a flexible view layer to make the application look and feel great, and a controller layer to tie it all together. Apache Struts includes a set of reusable Java components called “actions” which can be used to create web applications. These components are configured in an XML file and are mapped to URLs which can be called by the user through their web browser. Apache Struts is an ideal framework for developing a variety of web applications, including eCommerce, content management, and enterprise applications.
