Description

Apache Oozie is an open source workflow engine for managing and executing Apache Hadoop jobs. It is designed to simplify workflow management and scheduling of Hadoop jobs in a distributed environment. It is built on the Apache Hadoop YARN (Yet Another Resource Negotiator) framework and uses a directed acyclic graph (DAG) to define the workflow. It is a scalable, reliable, and extensible workflow scheduling system that provides a platform to easily create, maintain, and execute complex Hadoop jobs. Apache Oozie can also be used to manage and execute multiple types of jobs, including Java applications, Pig, Hive, Sqoop, and DistCp.
