Because the timeline is not very similar to animate cc, at least things are really easy to edit the frames when creating a timeline layer by layer than a time bar.

Almost an exact clone! However, the development team is no longer active. but I'm using it, and it's great!
It has mostly all the essential Flash functions for animation and doesn't cut corners at all. It is a good overall program to use. I have seen many amazing Flash level animations made with this program and it can still be used for simple low quality animations. It can also be used to teach students.
They have many similar features and are vector-based.
It is easy to use and really powerful.

Monkeyjam is not a real animation program, it is for synchronizing cells in traditional cell animation.
MonkeyJam is not for vector animation or for making and drawing any other kind of animation. it is only for testing animation timing for traditional animation or puppetry.
Moovely does not support any kind of frame-by-frame animation, it is designed for flat standalone ads with ukulele music in the background, not as actual animation.
Animate CC is for artists and animators who create real animation with frames. Moovly is basically an alternative to PowerPoint that uses pre-made animation for presentations.
