Discontinued The program is no longer available for iOS. The Mac version, v3.2.1, released in August 2012, is still available for purchase in the AppStore.
It's just a word processor, 750 words has the built-in challenge of typing.
This forces you to keep writing. Instead of being writing about games, as the other guest said, it's turning your writing -into- a game, so you can finish your morning pages in one sitting.
That's writing about games. 750 words is about creating a writing habit.
There are many more possibilities to adapt the program to my wishes. I can set my own word count, see different symbols for the days I wrote and set a dark theme.
Discontinued Last commitment dates from 2010, and the latest issue (still marked as new) dates from 2013, no response.
It's quite strange that it ranks so low, that it's the closest alternative to 750 words that I found. And I had been looking for years. If you're like me, I got hooked on the 1 month streak at 750words.com and you don't want to commit to their subscription fees, then I recommend you migrate to this.
