Hegemony is a strategy game created by Longbow Games. It is a turn based, civilization-building game that puts the player in charge of a small ancient civilization. The player must build and manage a thriving, vibrant city by making decisions about resource allocation, city planning, and diplomacy. The goal is to create a prosperous and powerful nation that can stand up to its neighbors and ultimately become the Hegemon of the region. The game features a variety of different civilizations to choose from, each with its own unique strengths and weaknesses, allowing the player to customize their game experience. Hegemony also features a deep and complex economic system, an extensive research tree, and a variety of different scenarios to choose from.
